The Camden Garden Tour
July 16, 2009 | 9:30 am to 4:00 pm

The Garden Club's main event and only fundraiser is its famous Annual House and Garden Tour. Held on the third Thursday in July since its inception in 1947 this tour has become so popular that many tourists plan their vacations around it.

In 2009, the Garden Club will present the 62nd Annual House and Garden Tour from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on July 16th, 2009, rain or shine. Enjoy a day visiting lovely homes and/or gardens on one of Maine's oldest and most famous summer tours.

Money raised from this tour help fund the many community projects in Camden including the beautiful flower baskets that hang on the town lamp posts in spring, summer and fall along with several flower boxes throughout town, the planting and maintaining of the beds at the Village Green, funding for annual scholarships, and donation of funds to other charitable organizations in town.
