The Camden Garden Club will host a Decorator Show House at the Hosmer Merrill House on High Street in Camden. This beautiful Federal style home features large gracious spaces, each to be decorated by one of the region’s most talented and imaginative designers. The original portion of the House was built in 1863 and the fireplaces, moldings and elliptical staircase attest to the homes architectural heritage. Extensively renovated in the early 20th century in the Colonial Revival Style, the structure now includes a paneled library and solarium. The surrounding property and Guest Cottage will be included on the tour and will be the site of many special community events supported and sponsored by local businesses. Steeped in history this splendid residence will soon showcase the designers’ talents. The interior of the home will be every bit as inspiring and beautiful as the Town of Camden and the Garden Club’s well-known Annual House and Garden Tour.

The Decorator Show House will run July 15th from 9:30 to 4:00 as part of the 63rd Annual Camden Garden Club House and Garden Tour. The house will reopen for evening tours on July 15th from 6 to 9 pm. Friday the 16th of July the house will be open from 9:30 to 2:00. Special events will occur at the house. Watch our web site for specifics.
