 CENTENNIAL YEAR

The Camden Garden Club, which has done so much to promote beautification and civic betterment in Camden over the past century, has  chosen All Those Flowers as its centennial theme. During the entire month of March, in the Picker Room at the Camden Public Library, exhibits will showcase the numerous contributions the Camden Garden Club has made to the community: the tree program, the flower baskets and wreaths on the lampposts, the traffic islands, the Village Green beds, the Children’s Amphitheater, scholarships, and much, much more. The exhibit includes a slide show of historic photographs, newspaper articles and awards that commemorate 100 years of the oldest garden club in Maine, and the dedication of members past and present.
